This is a video from an article on USA today's website about emergency rooms and the state of the health care system. It is really an accurate picture of what we deal with. It shows what a mess it all is. There are people who really need help. There are frequent flyers, doctor office dumps, uneducated folk, etc. and this is what we deal with every day.

WAtching this I realise that even though our hospital is falling apart at the seams, the state government seem to be determined to stuff things up, and we are seriously understaffed with specialists the system is still not as screwed as yours.

my hospital is also falling apart. We have too many specialists and not enough primary care docs.
