the sperm that won

I know that this is life in the emergency room, but sometimes I grow weary of taking care of all the crackheads, drunks, neurotic middle aged white women,  borderline personalities, drug seekers, dumb as a box of rocks people.

That is all.

Move along, nothing to see here.

Genetic diseases, congenital defects, low intelligence, etc.

We all won the conception lottery to get here, but for some of us it wasn't much of a victory.

My family has a genetic burden of bowel cancer, gall bladder problems, PCOS, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Psychotic depression, and Obesity.

In my family three people are currently fighting cancer, four are being treated for severe mental illness, all the females in my generation have had their gallbladders removed (and 5 out of 7 in my mother's generation), all the women have PCOS, and half of us are obese.
On the plus side, we all tall, have low blood pressure, low colesterol, and we've never had an incident of heart disease.

  2. I clean public parks. I feel weary myself when I have to clean up broken beer bottles , week after week in the same places.
Your patients, the neurotic ( too smart, who worries of everything) , is just the flip side of dumb-as-a-box-of-rocks.
I think "we" should give drug seekers as much drugs as they like.

They will starve to death and die ( on the unlimited supply) or figure out the drugs they are using are killing them and want to quit ( to live). Only the drug seeker can end his/her addiction by deciding it(drug use) is wrong, you can't force that decision upon them and make it stick.

"neurotic middle aged white women" -- Hey, I resemble that remark! Probably their husbands make them that way. I've been downright normal ever since the divorce was finalized. LOL
