Our hospital has done online training hospital-wide (worthless). They say they're also training a team within the Unit and the ED to care for Ebola patients, and are training them with full PPE - including PAPRs. Once that is actually in place, I won't be too concerned. Only problem will be if we get multiple possible Ebola patients that overwhelm those core staff.
We are going to be doing training with PAPRs, too. I work in a small town hospital in the middle of nowhere. If WE get Ebola, the rest of y'all are fucked.
My hospital has produced a 30 page policy manual that mostly says "follow CDC guidelines". Do we have the equipment? No. Makes me feel well prepared- not
