I was in my new poop brown scrubs yesterday. All the nurses were in their places with bright shiny faces like good girls and boys. Yes, it was the first day of the new uniform policy.
A lot of the patients noticed we were all wearing poop brown. When it was explained it was the first day of the new uniform, many were heard to comment: "I don't know why they chose poop brown. Its really not very flattering. I certainly won't have any trouble identifying the nurses." One thing you can bet on, we will become know as the poop brown hospital. I think the whole thing may actually backfire on the hospital.
Its actually very convenient. The walls where I work are poop brown. The floor are even kind of brown. Actually I think the color is kind of environmentally friendly (if you know what I mean), kind of our version of going green as it were. I find the color kind of cheery... I need to find some poop brown nail polish.

I love brown colored clothes and the whole autumn palette. I took care of a young man who always colored with brown-he would cover the entire side of the paper with brown marker. And I agree with the whole Green idea. Can't get much more nature-oriented than brown. Congratulations on no more decision-making about what to wear to work on any given day. I like having that decided already for me. YMMV
At least it's not lime green...
What a color! Does the hospital wash them for you too? Oh wait, no need to wash them--clotted blood and dried vomit should blend right in... lol!
The Brownies are back!

Our Techs wear brown scrubs.

The trend of poop brown is in your hospital, eh. I like blue nursing scrubs more than any other color. Anyway, maybe your hospital will be famous for that color. lol.
Cheers,

Put on a tin foli hat and you would look like Hershey Kisses....

Lab techs wear brown at our hospital, while nurses are clothed in an amazing shade of green. The same color, I might add, worn by nursing students. Personally, i could care less about colors. Even when you tell a patient your designation, they assume you're a doctor (being a guy). It doesn't help when the docs, in a show of solidarity, decided to wear green.

Brilliant idea...
Rightttttttt .
What is it with hospitals wanting their staff to wear colors that match the wall trim/paint? My last hospital job we had to wear burgendy and the techs had to wear that awful light brown/oatmeal color that washes everyone out.
/just wondering, do the people who tell you to wear poop-brown uniforms wear uniforms?? Thought not... Put the admin in suits and see how they like it. Making staff wear uniform uniforms is a power issue. (Suits don't count unless they look like Chairman Mao suits)
Wow, your Suits in Charge of Stupid $hit have really stepped in it with that color choice.
Since I know where you work- it's pretty interesting. You either are an environmental service worker or lying- since the RN's wear Navy.
Its way better than white which most of the hospitals in my area make nurses wear
Now just sew on a poop-brown hood and you will be able to camouflage yourself anytime you need a few minutes to breathe. Just pull up your hood, stand next to the wall, and be very still.
Lemons and lemonade.
